Xbox lets Insiders test paid Cloud Playtime
From 21 October 2026, Insiders can buy cloud time without Game Pass at introductory prices.
On 21 October 2026, Xbox opened a Cloud Playtime test for Xbox Insiders, allowing cloud play time purchases without a Game Pass subscription. General availability is planned for November.
Preview bundles cost $3.99 for 10 hours, $7.99 for 25 or $11.99 for 50, offering ad-free cloud play, shorter queues and high-quality streaming. Free ad-supported cloud gaming can also be tested.
