Xbox announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will join Xbox Game Pass on 29 October 2026, available on Xbox Series X|S, PC and cloud gaming. Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass members will have access.
According to the announcement, Intergrade retells the original story up to the escape from Midgar, with striking improved visuals, fast-paced gameplay and new narrative elements, combining real-time combat with strategic commands.
A producer’s perspective
The announcement confirms availability on 29 October 2026 for Xbox Series X|S, PC and cloud. A potential trade-off could be increased launch streaming demand putting pressure on Xbox’s cloud infrastructure, particularly if active subscribers exceed forecasts. Evaluating this risk would require precise concurrent-user estimates and Intergrade’s bandwidth requirements.
