Saros: Zenith adds free accessibility options
The update brings Slow Game Speed, Auto-fire, new Carcosan Modifiers, Eclipse Layers and Overlord Rush.
From 19 October 2026, Saros: Zenith is available at no extra cost to all Saros owners, aiming to improve replayability and accessibility. Slow Game Speed slows the action while preserving projectile sequences; Auto-fire shoots automatically when the reticle targets an enemy.
The Carcosan Modifier system gains ten Protection Modifiers, including Corruption Melee Enhancement, which converts accumulated corruption into extra melee-contact damage. New Game+ mode Eclipse Layers requires completing Trial Modifiers to unlock more intense layers. Overlord Rush is a timed challenge against the game’s Overlords with online leaderboards.
A producer’s perspective
Slowing action while preserving projectile patterns could affect visual-effect and physics synchronisation, requiring more testing to avoid glitches on older consoles. Assessing the actual risk would require performance data and QA results on previous-generation hardware.
