Rumour: Metro 2039 pre-order dates and European physical editions
The tweet lists prices, Collector Edition contents and a February 2027 release date.
This is a rumour attributed to the stated source. Its contents have not been verified as an official announcement.
An @IdleSloth84_ tweet dated 10 October 2026 says Metro 2039 pre-orders should open by Wednesday 14 October, with 13 October listed provisionally. It says no later than the 14th, leaving the 13th as a possible earlier date.
It lists three physical editions for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC: Day One at €69.99, Deluxe at €109.99 and Collector at €299.99. Collector adds a wearable Spartan helmet replica to Deluxe contents. PC physical editions would contain a download code rather than a disc. The stated release date is 4 February 2027.
A producer’s perspective
The alleged timetable and three European editions leave a limited interval between pre-orders and February release, which could constrain demand measurement and Deluxe/Collector production adjustments. Assessing risk requires print lead times, distribution logistics and pre-order marketing plans.
